in 1904, Frank Mitchell & Charles Ness came together in Philadelphia to create a company that specialised in handcrafted sporting goods. The company began by stringing tennis rackets, making custom golf clubs, and producing uniforms for local teams like the Eagles & Phillies. By 1933, the company was the official on-field outfitters for the Philadelphia Eagles, Athletics and Phillies – the rest is history. In 1985, a customer asked Mitchell & Ness to repair his game-worn jersey, sparking an idea to produce a nostalgic, authentic clothing line for sports fans.
